Quote
A federal judge in California has blocked President Trump’s executive order to cut funding from sanctuary cities that don’t cooperate with U.S. immigration officials.

Sanctuary cities should have their fundings cut off. They should also be walled off from the outside world.

Hopefully, they can get a stay and take it to the Supreme Court.

This is a whole lot of nothing.
It only applies to this Fiscal Year and monies already appropriated.

Exactly.  For future FYs, it can still happen.

As noted above, there is something there.  It is pretty well entrenched the government can't promise (actually allocate which is more than promise) funds for a purpose then just yank them.  The argument has to be the funds are not being used as originally designated -- not necessarily tangential policies.

The future funding can and should be cut immediately.
