Went to Maynard's today in very red southwest Michigan and 99% of the customers wore a mask

I was pleasantly surprised. It will eventually become the new normal like wearing a seat belt. People screamed from the hills when those laws started. But now a very high percentage of people put on their seat belt without even thinking about it.

And really wearing a mask follows the same argument as wearing a seat belt. It's a safety precaution. It's really that simple.

1. Looks Like The "Dying Thing" Gets Folks' Attention

Despite the "the death count is exaggerated" rhetoric, people are afraid.
A modicum of fear is a positive.
Panic, bad! But due caution based on a bit of fear is good.
It's why we don't run into traffic.
That fear of getting hit, makes take pause and mitigate our risks.
That's all this is.
It has NOTHING to do with freedom or rights.

I"m not ready to accept as my new normal that these insufferable Karens aren't going away anytime soon.

Pretty soon the general population is going to catch on to the fact that people like Governor Cuomovirus, Mayor de Blasio, and Stretch Pelosi are the ones to blame for the high death count, not the president.

Big time leftist Dr. Zeke Emanuel is now saying that it's safe to send kids off to summer camp.  That tells me that the elites of the democrat party are coming to the conclusion that the panic that they created is starting to backfire on them and it's time to cut and run.

Does the DUmmie mean Menard's?
They jumped on the mask requirement before many states were requiring it. People I know are avoiding them for now.

Proper spelling and grammar are not their specialty.

Did not know about that rule at Menards. Seems unusual for that particular company.

Well, you can wear your virtue signaling mask of submission DUmmy for the rest of your life.

I chose not to and won't be shamed into wearing one.

My face, my choice.
Biden is an illegitimate President.  Change my mind.

Ha! :rotf:

Apt comparison. Usually I'm all over noticing a Seinfeld connection, but that didn't jump out at me. :cheersmate:

Yeah we have one (a Menard's) in the immediate area, and I refuse to set foot in it until the Dempanic is over with.

Home Depot and Lowe's however aren't mask Nazis, so I go there.
