and McSame bumper stickers in my town. Its not because its a red state (it is). Its because repugs are NOT afraid to put signs out in their yards or stickers on their cars. They are not afraid that those hated libruls will trash their homes or cars if they show their true colors. They are not afraid of getting keyed for wearing stickers showing their allegiances. They are not afraid of having windows knocked out of their homes or signs stolen from their yards. They are not afraid of being called evil names when wearing their political buttons.

Wanna know why? Because we have MORE ****ING CLASS than that. We will not stoop to those levels. We BELIEVE in democracy. We BELIEVE you have the right to vote for whoever you wish, without the threat of harm or harassment. WE ARE AMERICANS WHO BELIEVE IN THE THE CONSTITUTION.

You know, there was a brief period for me when I thought the phrase "liberalism is a mental disorder" was catchy but held little meaning from a clinical standpoint.

Not anymore. Not for a long time.

The mere ability sit and type something like that with a straight face, and further, for the DUmmy readers to actually believe it and voice agreement with it after the completely classless behavior they demonstrate on a daily basis...I don't know. The utter lack of an ability to be self-critical, to not recognize irony or their own hypocrisy has to be pathological. A deep seated combination of stupidity and narcissism, it's just crazy. This same person has probably participated in or at least viewed hundreds of threads where a moonbat tore down someone's sign, defaced someones property, insulted a conservative, or committed some act of petty vandalism. You can't be a member of DU and not be aware of those things. Yet they can still make the claim that "we don't do that", that "we're better than that"?

It's far beyond simple lying and posturing. It is a serious dysfunction.

No, to all of that drivel.  It is because WE have all of the guns and WE are NOT afraid to use them. :-)

And yet they see nothing wrong with wearing a "Sarah Pailin is a C*nt" tshirt. They are forced into accepting and approving of things that are incredibly against human nature. They have to believe that hard work doesnt always pay off and that they cant condemn anyone for refusing to work. They have to believe that it is ok for someone that refuses to work to be given the wealth they have worked hard for. And they are not allowed to be resentful of that. They have to be accepting of every sexual pervision being on public display even as they cover the eyes of their children so that they cannot see it. Yet they are not allowed to voice their true opinions. This mental disconnect must be incredibly difficult to deal with on a daily basis. I think this is why they have such a vicious hatred of George Bush and Sarah Palin. They are so seldom allowed to voice their true opinions that when they can the pent up rage just overpowers them. Good post Dandi.

My sister was in Maine for the weekend, and she commented on all of the McCain/Palin signs she saw -- everywhere.    I have to report the same here in Central MA, as it was in NH when I drove through it (Keene area) on my way to Vermont (nothing by way of political signs in VT save for the parade float socialist hybrids that were making their way to Burlington).    This really is a first also, as you all know the liberal mecca that NE is.

I really don't get the polls right now because in the one place that I should be drowning in Obama signs, I am seeing very little of them.

Afraid to put signs and stickers?  You bet I'm afraid!  I wouldn't dream of putting a conservative candidate's name on any of my possessions where I live.  I don't want to be targeted for vandalism or worse and in my area it's a real risk.

Does anyone have that great pic of the sign that says "whoever stole my McCain sign and deprived me of my 1st Amendment rights better be ready for me to exercise my 2nd Amendment rights" (or something along those lines)?

Don't fool yourself.  Keene will go at least 2-1 for Obama.  That's been pretty much the rule in NH for a few years, from what I gather.  Big margins for the 'Rats along the VT border towns, Concord/Manchvegas, and the I-95 corridor, conservatives do well pretty much everywhere else.

You wouldn't believe the McCain signs I saw though --I thought I took a wrong turn somewhere.     Very interesting to see how NH goes.
