It's amazing to me that what the Founders viewed as individual responsibilities, this crowd views as a "civil right". Back then, you wanted to eat, go hunt or fish or grow your food. You wanted to have a roof over your head, get to building one. You wanted money, you better work at providing a good or service that people wanted to pay you to provide. If you didn't want to go hunting, or build your own house, or whatever else, you could do that too, but you needed the money to do so.
Now, food is a civil right, housing is a civil right, healthcare is a civil right, income is a civil right, cell phones are a civil right, etc. I'm sure that Washington, Madison, et al would be disgusted with us for letting it get this far.
