Now my question is why is the black comunity all upset.? As a Yankee I have no idea of what the cast system in the south was like 200 years ago, heck we poor white folk here in New England have little idea of how anything worked south of the Mason Dixon line back then.
Now I see people who are of a dark race talking garbage about the darker the color of a humane, they were set to work in the fields, the people with white in them were given easy jobs in the house .?
What does all this have to do with today, only the wealthy owned slaves or white indentured servents, few people in my neck of the woods could afford the upkeep of a slave of any color.
.What, perhaps there are 3% of all Americans alive today that have ancestors that could afford a slave.?
There are alot of people in this country that if they wish can find ancestors that as children were kidnapped by American Indians and sold in Canada as slaves or kept in the tribe as slaves. The tribes themselves took slaves from conquored tribes.
So am I to picket the next Powow of Indians that are held everywhere.? Should I carry a plackard reading " What did you do with my ggggggg Aunt Ruth.?" Or "Uncle Jon was 4 years old when you stole him, did he survive? "
Give me a break, things that happend 200 years ago happend then. Things that happen today happen today.
