WASHINGTON (AP) -- Just when it seemed the partisan divide on the Senate Judiciary Committee couldn't get much worse, it did. ... Every Democrat on the panel skipped a Wednesday hearing on judicial nominations. The Democrats said the hearing should have been canceled because the Senate is not in session ahead of next month's election.....

I ****ing hate them. They wouldn't even give President Obama's nominees the courtesy of hearings - not just Garland but lots of the lower court judges as well. Now that the orange **** is in office they can't shovel his nominees in fast enough.

Ouch.

The rise and fall of decades, economies, parties, policies, generations, norms ... these are what make judgment, wisdom, perspective. In my view 36 year olds just don't have it to be judges.
