It's worse than that. He's wearing a CIB (Combat Infantry Badge). No one is awarded that unless they're in a combat arms unit and deployed to a combat zone. I know a few infantry units that would love to have a word with that fat ****. A CIB is not taken lightly. For an infantry soldier, it means actually placing your life on the line in combat. The only time that fat **** has ever placed his life on the line is when he went to a buffet at Golden Corral with people even fatter than that ****er is. ..and even while this is a Marine, it's still combat infantry and many troops that receive the CIB end up like this:
So yeah, fat ass, it IS a big ****ing deal, fat ass.
I was noticing the same thing. I have an EIB but not CIB myself, as my service was in the late 70's-mid 80's with no war. I don't know if there is a law against wearing army decorations the way he's wearing it.
If Steve earned a CIB, I wouldn't have any problems with him wearing it, albeit as tasteless as it may be for an active candidate for office. But if he didn't earn one, then this is something that should, at the very least, warrant a letter to all three of his opponents in the race, as well as a letter to the Omaha newspaper.
EDIT: It looks as if this was a costume party he was at, judging by some of the other pictures.
