U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., a top congressional investigator, is demanding that the Obama administration investigate allegedly fraudulent fundraising practices that ACORN's New York front group has used to raise funds for Occupy Wall Street.

ACORN used to employ Barack Obama as an organizer and lawyer.

Issa, who is chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, asked Brooklyn-based U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch if New York Communities for Change "engaged in fraud through its participation in the Occupy Wall Street protests."
