Already happened to anyone with a lick of common sense. You saw the election results, right? No one on the right believed a single damned thing they were saying, and we still don't. All it's done is make them ratchet up the bullsh@#$ even more. The clowns in the general media will do nothing more than double-down. We are already witnessing that as well.
In another example, as soon as that video miraculously emerged in late September I knew what the next two stages would be:
1. After allowing some time for Trump to respond, several females would step forward with 20-40 year old claims that would be difficult to fact-check;
2. ConservaMedia folk would, nevertheless, expose the accusations as false or very extremely implausible, and many/most of the accusers as probable Clinton or D operatives.
So I reflexively disbelieved the @#$% and what I expected is what happened. Not only is it more difficult for liars to remember their stories, but the more details in a story - to make it seem credible - the more pitfalls the liar creates (like claiming to be groped on an airplane the airline never flew, or claiming to be groped at a concert on a date when there was no concert).
And what the MSM do not, cannot, and will not get is that every lie, every partisan act is a betrayal, not only of the truth, but of the
TRUST of readers, listeners, and viewers. Betrayed trust is extremely difficult to rebuild, at best. The MSM won't even acknowledge what they've done or that it was wrong, so they aren't even at the start of any path to rebuilding trust. Most seem to be doubling down (or quintupling).
