Way to go, NC, for electing anti-transgender "bathroom bill" author & Proud Boys bud Dan Bishop.

1. It's a Trump district through and through and they still only barely pulled it out.
Portends good things for next year tbh

13. It's disgusting to see that Trump can still parachute into a district and pull a candidate over the finish line.
His appearance last night probably got Bishop just the extra votes he needed to squeak this one out.
I thought Trump was finished?

6. Yep.
Kornacki said rural voters out performed in voting today. That usually means older, white people. Racism's a strong motivator for them , apparently.

Talbert sounds like a real self-loathing douche.

DUmbasses do not realise that this election is a harbinger of things to come in November of 2020.
-
DUmmies can't figure out why people would vote for a pro-America candidate.

Mysterious boxes of uncounted ballots to be found in 3... 2... 1...

They just didn't call the good voters of North Carolina 'Racist Bigots' loudly enough this time. ::)
I'm sure they'll fix THAT in time for 2020!

Meh, some voters did something. :-)

District 9 rejected a guy that on any ordinary day DUpipo would have denounced as a DINO. AFAIK, none of the Dem candidates for President are that non-loony, so this is not necessarily any kind of crisis for Trump.

The only reason it was closer than it should have been is that the Democrat candidate was also a former service member so voters were confused as to how this could possibly be a real Democrat. :cheersmate:

The Dem candidate was running a campaign much longer and spending more which is one reason it was so close. Like Beta, the Dems wanted to get an R seat to "prove" that everybody hates Trump.

And district 3 was a landslide when the polls showed that it was a toss up. Proud district 3 NC bigot :cheersmate:

Interesting, because the post-election coverage I saw gave it short shrift, saying a landslide had been entirely expected.

It was by most, but local polls were showing a toss up due to early voting. All the data they get is what party affiliations have voted. As with most of the south, many people are still registered democrats and early voting showed they were voting in far greater numbers. This is about as reliable as exit polls.
