Come on. You have to get used to our summers, but you won't freeze your ass off in the winter, save the occasional snow storm (which you guys up north would call October). Yesterday's attire after work consisted of flip flops, shorts, and a shirt. I hear you guys are about to get blasted with winter weather.  :-)

What happens when ma and pa liberals have a kid that like to listen to Rush, Savage, Wilkow, like to play with guns, G.I. joes, throws the gender nutral dolls against the wall, and wants to join the military.  They going to force him to move to Texas?  

I know that if one of my kids was liberal, I would still be feeding him and clothing him, and not forcing him to move to his grandparents house in the Peoples Republic of Massachussetts.

It is the usual reasons, not their fault and because of conservatives.

Notice how it's always the left that is the one calling for the country to be split up. They might say something along the lines of "We know all you Southern redneck conservatives want to secede," but then they never back it up with proof of any kind. Instead, the liberals are the ones who keep suggesting splitting up the coutnries because they cannot tolerate the idea of living in the same country with people who dare to disagree with them on any subject.

There are a lot of yankee transplants here in the CSRA. Many, if not most, were military at some point in time (retired or veteran). Most of the ones I know are conservative as hell and fit in well down here. There are country folk in the north. Look at any hunting message board. You'll see people from every state, including Michigan, NY, etc., who are avid hunters and outdoorsmen. Sometimes we tend to generalize the north with their liberal cities. I know the NW Pacific area is crazy left, but you have people like Delilah that could school tons of women, and men, down here on farming, etc. Pennsylvania, between Pitt and Philly, is beautiful, although they do have to suffer through state politics.

...and he can rot in hell. A good friend of mine lives on the side of a hill in the Perry Valley overlooking the Susquehanna River in Liverpool, Pa. It's absolutely beautiful. I've traveled to Ft. Indiantown Gap many times as well. Very nice. Hershey and Gettysburg are nice as well (Save the libtard "art majors" in Gettysburg).

Outside of Detroit and the southern part of the state if you get past "Detroit North" aka "Flint" It's all forest,lakes and farmland here in the Mitten! :cheersmate:

Sounds like yours may be from Coal City/Sophia/Shady Springs area if she's from around Beckley, further south, you have Hinton/Flat Top/Camp Creek, to the southwest, Mullins, Welch, Gilbert, and Oceana

I will say some of the finest ladies in the world are from southern WV, DD. They're really pretty and they ain't spoiled either. They just expect ya to act like a real man. You take care of them and they will take care of you.
