The State Department has no idea what happened to $6 billion used to pay its contractors.

In a special “management alert” made public Thursday, the State Department’s Inspector General Steve Linick warned “significant financial risk and a lack of internal control at the department has led to billions of unaccounted dollars over the last six years.

The alert was just the latest example of the federal government’s continued struggle with oversight over its outside contractors.

I wonder if the combined bank accounts of Hillary , obama, friends and cohorts have increased by $6 Billion over the last 6 years?

Hillary had to start her campaign nest egg somewhere.

ETA: They were discussing disgusting Hillary on The Five the other night, and I think it was Bob Beckel that said Hillary would raise well over a billion dollars for her campaign in 2016.

I used a company credit card once to buy a candy bar by mistake.   $1.50 in total and I was asked about it. How the hell do fail to notice 6 billion ?

Yeah, I didn't really think Hillary, Bill and obama (and friends) sold enough books to becoming so rich in such a short time.
Now we know how their bank accounts and campaign coffers got so fat.
And it wasn't from the $5 contributions from internet donors.

Cuz this is taxpayer money, aka everyone's money, aka no one's money...

And they'd come after me for losing a $3 oxygen tank wrench... but $6B, eh, who cares? It's only the cost of 3 B-2 F'n Bombers or 2 Aircraft Carriers, or training for EVERY BRIGADE COMBAT TEAM IN THE ARMY FOR A YEAR!

And those of us in the military are being told we have to accept pay cuts to pay for training? WHY?
