Witnesses caught up in the attack at Westlands Shopping Centre, in the Kenyan capital Nairobi, said anyone who could recite a Muslim prayer to their captors was allowed to leave unscathed.

But the attackers turned their guns on anyone who could not prove their Islamic credentials

The Islamists are at it again and it is in Kenya. This is horrible. I worry this type of attack can happen in America.

I do believe the vast majority of Americans will do just what you are saying. The only problem with it is by the time that starts happening here the laws will be such, that they are protected to the point that the government will also be on their side (its already starting). That being said it will not be pretty, and yes I do agree with your last statement I hope I am not around for that. It is truly sad there is a group of people in this great country that turn a blind eye to this sort of violence (thus condoning it) in the name of political correctness.

Nairobi, Kenya (CNN) -- Authorities in Kenya appeared close to ending a deadly siege early Monday at an upscale Nairobi mall, where attackers have killed at least 68 people, injured 175, and were believed to be holding about 30 people hostage.

"All efforts are underway to bring this matter to a speedy conclusion," the Kenyan military announced on Twitter.

It said that "most of the hostages have been rescued and security forces have taken control of most parts of the building."

The death toll is likely to rise.

I read a book -it's been in the last 6 months or so - fiction, and it was about an attack by Islamic terrorist on Mall of America. It was amazing how they did it. They had a buddy working as a manager in a shop, and all the guns were shipped in as new merchandise and the manager did the checking in, so he was able to stockpile and hide them in the mall.

It was really scary reading it, because it was so easy to see how it could be done. And now it has...
