But but but....

According to some "gun control advocates", only cops should have guns.

There may not be much to look at if the police have a sniper take him out.

Or perhaps he takes out the police sniper?

Actually, he just made the case for 30-round magazines better than anyone else ever has, because look at the two stops that have been made just this weekend were Nissan Titans got turned into Swiss cheese because of trigger-happy cops.

LAPD ain't doing themselves any favors in this situation.  Maybe they can use some of those USED AT-4 launchers they bought a few weeks ago to track his ass down and, well, shake it in a threatening manner, for all the good it'll do.

Or perhaps he takes out the police sniper?

Not likely.  He only fired "marksman" according to FOIA.  He also never got any sort of a personal award during his time in, which for a 10-year LT (even a reservist) is quite telling.  He was a 2X Non-Select for LCDR, and six months after that, they get the boot, which explains his separation date of 1 Feb 13.

Even passing out basketballs at the gym in Jebel Ali for a year would get an officer an EOT (end-of-tour) NAM or better.  This shitbag?  Not so much.  Apparently he had an aviation designator but washed out of that pipeline somewhere along the way, and his records look like someone that kept getting shuffled from command to command after they realized what a dirtbag he was.

I was being sarcastic.

I was being sarcastic.

Bottom line, he's not this "high-speed, low-drag" operator that CNN or the LAPD have made him out to be.

Personally, I'd like to take Chief Beck and bitch-slap him for that, "Of course he knows what he's doing, we trained him" comment.

Three years with the LAPD, and when you take away the year he was in the sandbox, and the time he was on suspension or investigation before being shitcanned, this guy is barely able to tell you who his divisional watch commander was.

He's a thug.  No more, no less.  I had to listen to Scoobie's mother talking about how "trained" he was until I showed her I had more/better weapons qualifications than he did.  Me, a dumbass bubblehead nuke.

Exactly. When I hear about rampage killings, it reaffirms that there should be no gun control. Killers don't care for the law. They are determined to kill.

Well, even if all their gun control wet dreams came true wouldn't cops be in that group that would probably be able to keep/buy/have access to guns?

The thing is, the bastard knows he's going to die. He made a comment in his screed about examining his so-called "brain" afterwards.

This animal needs to be put down using maximum violence. He MUST NOT be allowed to kill again.

Dorner is apparently holed up in a cabin, which is surrounded by cops and SWAT.

But not before the ****er shot two more cops.

I don't know which I wanna see less: Massa Barry and his Bullshit on Parade, or the jack-booted police state in all it's glory putting paid on the ticket of one of their own who turned and bit the hands which fed him.

Both are liable to leave me weeping for my poor, benighted country.
