Yup. I've long held the opinion that a president can get blow jobs in the Oval Office, can lie, cheat and steal, can take endless vacations and even trash the country over and over again in his speeches, but if the price of gas goes beyond $4 a gallon, that president might as well bend over and grab his ankles because he'll take it right up the ass.

At some point in the game, his anti-business, anti-capitalist policies are going to catch up with him.

That might be true if the president is a republican and the MSM is constantly blaming him for it.  When the president is a DemonRat and the MSM is silent, I'm not so sure.

$3.62 yesterday for ethanol 87 , 3.89 for ethanol free 89 grade here in eastern NC

We were at $3.47 a gallon in the morning and then up to $3.54 in the afternoon on Thursday.  Yesterday, it was back to $3.47 a gallon.  I'll have to check what it is today while we're out.

And yet the MSM is claiming his approval is INCREASING.

This after I saw gas going for $3.67 yesterday.  Oh, and they're bringing back the cash/credit price differences.  Had it for a while, then it mostly disappeared, now making a comeback.

Anybody with a smartphone, I highly suggest the Gas Buddy app.

Saves my butt on a regular basis, especially when Scoobs and I drove to NYC.  Had I not stopped in MA on I-84, we would have gotten NAILED buying gas in CT.

I got that.  It's great.  I update it all the time.  I had some crappy service at one gas station by the cashier and I marked that their gas was $3.99 when everyone else was just $3.20  :-)  **** with me

What ticks me off the most about gas prices is that when they rise, they go up by 5 cents or so at one time....when they fall, they only go down a penny at a time.  :mad:

Damn.....it spiked up to $3.29 here a week or so ago (it had been about $3.09), and has been steadily dropping.....filled up yesterday for $3.21.

Monday through yesterday was 3.49, at the station I monitor, which isn't on a highway or byway.  Today it is 3.44.  Close to my work, on the highway it is 3.57.

$3.75 for prem. and I live 10 miles from the second largest refinery in the US. I should not bitch cause when the price goes up my oil royalty checks go up.

We could easily have $5 gas prices if the M.E. erupts
