Alex Jones and the "Little Lie"...

Not the "Big Lie", but the "Little Lie".

He got on his propaganda station and told the world that those poor children in Sandy Hook were not killed -it was a conspiracy - and many of his listeners believed him. Just like so many more, now believe the "Big Lie".

Why are so many, so hesitant, to tell the truth?

Big Lies and Little Lies, they all do their damage.

I'm compiling a list of democratic party lies. I don't why I bother, it's not like it's telling us anything we don't know. It just looks like a wall of text.

I realize the number of Alex Jones devotees is probably greater than zero, but is he really all that popular? Outside of DU :stoner:-fantasies, that is.

For my part, I've never heard his voice, AFAIK, and do not use (and AFAIK, never have used) his "Prison Planet" website as a worthwhile news or opinion source. As for Sandy Hook, I believed that was phony ... I never did.

From Talkers picks the 100 ‘most important’ radio hosts, https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2022/apr/14/inside-beltway-100-most-important-radio-hosts/ :

Quote
The nation’s most powerful and popular talk radio hosts have been revealed by Talkers Magazine, an industry source that based its judgments on some striking qualities of those who are behind the microphone.

Those qualities include ratings, of course — but also such varied factors as courage, effort, impact, longevity, talent, revenue, service and uniqueness.
...
Meanwhile, here’s the top 10:

Fox News Channel host Sean Hannity — whose daily show is syndicated by Premiere Networks — was No. 1 on the list. He is followed by financial adviser Dave Ramsey (Ramsey Solutions), Mark Levin (Westwood One), Brian Kilmeade (Fox News Radio), Joe Madison (SiriusXM), Dana Loesch (Radio America), Mike Gallagher (Salem Radio Network), Thom Hartmann (WYD Media). Michael Berry (KTRH Houston) and Joe Pagliarulo (Compass Media Network).

The names go on — and on.

Here’s a select few more: Clay Travis and Buck Sexton (Premiere Network) are at No. 11. Dan Bongino and Ben Shapiro — both with Westwood One — are 14th and 18th, respectively. Noted overnight guy George Noory (Premiere Networks) is 22nd, Bill O’Reilly (Key Networks) is 30th, Dennis Prager and Sebastian Gorka (both from Salem Radio Network) are 33rd and 34th, respectively, while Charlemagne Tha God (Premiere Networks) is 37th, and NPR’s Terry Gross is 57th.

I like listening to Pags. No nonsense. He reminds me a little of Mike Rowe in how he sounds.

Hannity and his 'rank and file fbi agents are great'...I'll pass.

Here's the top 25 of Talkers "Heavy Hundred", https://www.talkers.com/2022-heavy-hundred-1-25/ . I see Hugh Hewitt is #23; Alex Jones is not in the top 25.

Here's #26-#50, https://www.talkers.com/2022-heavy-hundred-26-50/ . Sacto's and SF's morning squirrels, Armstrong & Getty are #27; no Alex Jones.

#51-75, https://www.talkers.com/2022-heavy-hundred-51-75/ ; no Alex Jones. #76-#100, https://www.talkers.com/2022-heavy-hundred-76-100/ ; no Alex Jones.

Talkers' ratings considered more than show rating, impact, and revenue (= advertisers perception of show popularity), but it's reasonable to conclude that Alex Jones is far more influential in DUmmies :stoner:-fantasies than in real life.

They may in fact be giving him more exposure, though they're trying to do the opposite.

True, sometimes I look at the "enemies" some unknown (to me) has acquired and gauge the unknown partly by that. So DUmmies hating on Alex Jones could have the opposite of the intended effect. I'm not sure DUmmie thinking would be that perceptive.

Anyone remember the good old days when the DUmmies loved Alex Jones? He is a leftist loon, after all. But he's so bat guano crazy the media just conveniently lumps him in with right wing extremists.

About the same size of following as the mysterious "Q".  :-)

Definitely at one time A.J. had a good size following, but as his sanity declined, so did his listeners. At least thats my take.

And AJ probably has more antis watching him than he has fans.
