I really haven't paid much attention to print edition newspapers for years but today when I went into a Walgreens I decided to take a quick look at the lone newspaper I saw on the rack and was SHOCKED by what I saw. Is this also the situation with your local newspaper? Are they as THIN and EXPENSIVE as the Sun-Sentinel? Let me know in your comments.

The San Jose Murky Skews is now in a smaller format and about half the thickness. Part of it is that with the equivalent of job want-ads and used ______ ads being largely online, that section is much shrunken (or gone, I've not opened a Murky Skews in over a decade, probably).

We used to take the Sunday paper so my wife could get the sale papers and coupons, but you can get all that online now, so no point.

It was great for cleaning the car windows. Nothing better than newspapers
