Trump warned the EU not to depend on Russia for gas. He warned they could be cut off. Merkle and the other just laughed him off as a rube.

Russia put a deadline down, after this point all payments will be in rubbles. The EU did not comply. Now the gas is off and the EU is stuck high and dry.

"I told you so" is amazingly satisfying.

Might be some innuendo wrapped-up in the story...

Der Spiegel and the Daily Mail aren't reporting on it.  Zero Hedge seems to be reacting to some LNG issue.  If the infrastructure and facilities aren't completed, Gazprom removes the gas from the pipeline until they are.

Trump did point out what is so lacking in politics here and the EU. It's called COMMON SENSE!!!
Never put your country in a position to depend on the cooperation of your potential enemy.
And Biden is trying the same damn thing.
