Go take a look. These attacks on Steve are the same kind of thuggery that has gone on for years. These are some of the same people that (they admit!) killed Andy Stephenson and (even today) characterize that campaign against Andy (gay, DU-er, voting rights activist) as a "job well done."

A web site was constructed when they attacked Andy. It was called "scamdy.com" and used false registration information for the domain name. It was owned by a man identified on DU at the time as Fred Grady, of Nebraska. "Fred" lives near to our Omaha Steve.

Now they are attempting to google bomb so that this site comes up when anyone looks for Steve's campaign site.

So -

I looked at the site in question - It seems to contain copy & pasted texts from DU and other places from OS himself, as well as links back to the source of the quotes.

Its the same thing that has been done here, at CU, and by the DUmmie FUnnies authors. - And if they haven't managed to shut any of these sites down by now, there is little chance they will be able to shut this down either - Especially since OS is a politician running for political office.

If it were possible, the owners of DU would have been 'frog marched to The Hague' for the damaging reports and even outright lies they manufactured about their political opponents.

My only criticism is some of the inline photos are slightly distorted, at least when viewed through Opera.

I went to www.electstevedawes.com, very funny and informative.
I especially loved the part about how he said that he saw ghosts and they made him cry!
People of Bellevue, do you REALLY want that kind of a guy representing you in city council?
I'd also agree that for all of grasswire's whining about "Attacks" and "Thuggery," www.electstevedawes.com is basically the same as this site, conservativeunderground, and DUmmie FUnnies, highlighting the funnier and more deranged posts the DUmp has to offer, though www.electstevedawes.com focuses on one specific DUmmy.

Well, I went over and visited www.electstevedawes.com for a spell.  I like the design very much.  Plenty of interesting material to read.  It's Steve's own words, of course, arranged in attractive fonts with some graphics & pics.  All of the content is impeccably sourced.  It's a handy tool for the voters of Bellevue to use when assessing their choices in the coming election.  

The ghost story made me laugh.

Many moons ago, franksolich counseled the big guy, his fellow Nebraskan, that he needed to present his platform, his plank, his philosophy, his promises before trying to raise money.
