From what I can deduce, if I were to patronize this establishment, I'd be served vegetables, more vegetables, cheese, eggs, and some admittedly delicious sounding desserts, except for the shortbread.  Excuse me while I go fry up some eggs and bacon.

Are you sure you aren't a sister of mine who my parents forgot to mention?

i wonder if it will be a learning experience for people or will they just blame the messanger rather than the idiot who badmouthed the customers.  We should do a dead pool thing to see who is the next DUmmie to walldude themselves, kinda be interesting.  Also Kudos for Nads for exacting her revenge with such covert means.

I feel bad for her and would hope her employers could forgive and move on.

If people need to vent they need to do so privately, and it was silly to paint Republicans with such a broad brush like that.

It was more than silly, it was mean-spirited and it was business sabatoge.  Now, I think this place is skating on thin ice with the health dept anyway, since it's not chock full of gleaming stainless steel, and some of their food storage is conducted in a barn.  For her to claim an insect invasion is a serious breach. 

DUmmies hate business.  We all know that.  They just can't help themselves but to be revolted by such capitalistic concepts as customer service and competitive advantage through superior service.  This is what happens.  Jobs are lost. 

At any rate, this entire thread has been priceless.  Wallduded.

Well, after seeing the menu, this place offers, I did some research to back up my observations. High Tea is not a main meal, but a light repast around 2:00. Usually consists of tea, and a variety of pastries, sometimes light sandwiches

I grow tons of lavender. I just love the stuff. It actually has a wonderful flavor. I have a scones recipe I add it to occasionally and I put it in some of the herbal tea mixes I make. Comte cheese is just Gruyere. It's French, dontcha know. They must have a heck of a lot of Cochins because they aren't the world's greatest layers.

I sincerely hope that the owners don't take her apology at the DUmp as the end of it.  I hope they make her feel tons of financial and legal pain for slandering their business. 

Anything like what that dunt did during this obama economy is nothing less than economic terrorism as far as I'm concerned.  I do so hope they choose to make an example of her.
