From what little I've heard about her, she sounds like an abused wife. But I guess that goes hand in hand with the practice of Islam.

I don't think they are citizens. The mother sounds like she's nuts. She's in denial about her precious children and is grasping at every far fetched idea about their innocent. Unfortuanately, there are far too many people that think just like she does. She sounds no different than the Islamic wackjobs in the ME and Africa.

Why on earth did they go back to Russia and leave the Boys, their sisters and a grandchild here ????? Why did they leave Russia in the first place only to return.??
If the oldest Son, married with a child had to receive welfare until his wife found a good job----Where did the money come from to buy a round trip ticket from Boston to Russia, where did the money come from for him to travel about, eat and sleep ?
Mean while the younger Boy is enrolled in a expensive school, believe you me, text books cost the earth
and an apartment even with room mates, his food and clothing, someone was paying out the nose for all this. Did the boy have a part time job, if so where ?
No one gets to work out in a gym or master boxing skills for free. Who paid for all this ??? Who paid for his expensive work out clothing and shoes ?? Did he have Sponsors, if so who were they ???
Parents had to get the money somewhere to fly home to Russia, how are they supporting themselves there ??
I was taught to Follow the Money trail when people got up to no good. Ignore these tales of EX girlfriends, so he slapped one or two around, that has nothing to do with what the brothers did.
There is a large enclave of Russian EX Pats in Boston, were they part of that group ??? My coworker that said she was a Jew that managed to get out of Russia with family, headed to Israel and now here had to commute 50 miles each way to and from work. I once asked her off the top of my head about the Russian Mafia in NYC--------Dumb thing to do but I was interested.

It's a misdemeanor (shoplifted something like $1600 worth of dresses from a higher-end Boston store) so she isn't going to get extradited for that, especially from Russia.
That being said, she's 10 levels of crazy/stupid if she shows up at Logan without having taken care of her legal issues beforehand. She does without talking to the legal authorities here, she won't even get to Customs before she's in cuffs.
