BBC backs down on climate change: Forced to delete David Attenborough's 'alarmist' warming claims from final show of Africa series

Broadcaster removed assertions that 'some parts of the continent have become 3.5C hotter in the past 20 years' in repeat shown last night
Figures show that since 1850 global temperatures have risen by 0.76C, causing widespread concern among viewers.

The BBC has been forced into an embarrassing climbdown over climate change claims made in Sir David Attenborough's groundbreaking Africa series.

In the last episode of the series, entitled 'Future', Sir David discussed the challenges facing the region.

Speaking over footage of Mount Kilimanjaro, Sir David made the assertion that 'some parts of the continent have become 3.5C hotter in the past 20 years'.

It's irrelevant to the left.  Gloal warming is just the current excuse for hurting businesses and redistributing the wealth.

Wow, I never knew we had the ability to know the average temperature of the planet since then.    :rotf:

What I have always questioned hasn't the equipment we have used over the years become more precise with the advanced in technology.  So I would love to see the actual rise in temp with this figured in.  Because there is no way a device was more accurate in 1850 than it is now.

I want to see where they take the tempertures.

Some girl posted pictures of some of the official reporting stations....one was positioned right behind an air conditioner.....and others were in like places that were effected by there surroundings. If a high school girls can see through their data collecting methods.....well :???:

Yeah, there is a whole site some where that documents the crappy setups of some of the NOAA temp gauges.  I will try and find it.

The problem is, no one can tell you what the "correct" average temperature of the Earf is supposed to be, let alone what it was over 100 years ago.

Which makes it a perfect democrat panic topic.
