EDIT: I just heard the quote. My God, the leaps of logic. There is nothing the left won't twist into something damning. That's the power of confirmation bias.

I call bullshit.  It's been years since I read it but I distinctly remember Hitler lavishing praise on Andrew "Old Hickory" Jackson (the father of the modern democrat party) for his forced relocation of American Indians.
