Thanks! :)
You are such a good guy, Tex. :hi5:
If only you could send me a sample of a "fried" one! :rotf:

Feast well, people! There is still much to be thankful for in these darkened times.

I'd just take one to use on my insufferable sister-in-law. No politics, just her incessant blather about her boring life.

Happy Thanksgiving ABC,and CC

I remember you well, from CU in the old days when you used to post pics of the Rose Bowl Parade.
I loved them!

Les sanglots longs
Des violons
De l'automne
Autumn Song
English Translation © Richard Stokes
With long sobs
The violins
Of autumn
Wound my heart
With languorous
Monotony.

I don't really know what to say ...
Other than, I also found out what a few lines of the poem were used for in WW2.

Yep some good day's, Unfortunately not working the parade any more.

Yep some good day's, Unfortunately not working the parade any more.
I grew up in Pasadena a mere mile from the Rose Parade route and spent several new years eves partying on the parade route and watching the parade the next morning. I remember it was always freezing cold but with clear and sunny skies when the parade kicked off.
When the tradition of the USAF B-2 bomber flying over the parade route just prior to the parade began several years back, my mom has been convinced that the pilots are using the telephone pole in her back yard as their reference point for where they change course after they are done with their fly by. I just smile and tell her, "maybe they are"...

My stepson and his girlfriend showed up with her two TODDLERS.
OMG. It's gonna take me the rest of today and tomorrow to recover. Mrs. E was even flummoxed, and she lives for this stuff. :o

Two toddlers, huh? Mercy I fully understand. :-)
I remember, when my sister used to come with her little guy ...
He ran around having a ball, while she enjoyed herself completely with everyone, & expected me to keep him inline. Such a little handful he was!

One more Thanksgiving post I couldn't resist ... :-)
From CollectivismMustDie, that I noticed (but do not belong to) in the CC Shout box, but can still view the links given.
It was indeed "Best Thanksgiving Tweet Ever" If you missed it here it is ... It was hillarious. Take a note of the folks at the table, first, then see what happens!

Part of a poem read on the BBC in early June 1944 to alert the French that help was at long last coming.
I thought it appropriate here, to reassure everyone that liberation from the Democrats is coming.
