Cheap publicity stunt by Sullivan. The US government can't revoke Flashbang's citizenship at this point, because he hasn't yet been convicted of a crime.

The law governing revocation of naturalized citizenship is 8 USC 1481. Paragraph a(7) states that a person must be convicted of: -committing any act of treason against, or attempting by force to overthrow, or bearing arms against, the United States, violating or conspiring to violate any of the provisions of section 2383 of title 18, or willfully performing any act in violation of section 2385 of title 18, or violating section 2384 of title 18 by engaging in a conspiracy to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, if and when he is convicted thereof by a court martial or by a court of competent jurisdiction.

In my opinion, it is unlikely the US Government will file to revoke his citizenship after conviction, because execution of the sentence (death or imprisonment) would not change if his citizenship is revoked.

Cheap publicity stunt notwithstanding, I was curious about Sullivan's role in Fast and Furious, if any.

Quote
Sullivan was appointed acting director of the ATF by President President George W. Bush in late 2006 and left with the start of the Obama administration in 2009.

While Sullivan definitely worked Operation Gunrunner (the proper way to combat the illegal obtainment of firearms by tracking them, collecting evidence to include the actual firearms), which was effectively replaced by F&F, the wrong way to combat the illegal obtainment of firearms), Sullivan had nothing to do with F&F.

I don't live in Masshole so I don't really have a dog in the fight with respect to his candidacy for Senator in the Commonwealth, but just the little bit I read -- I think he's a viable candidate. Maybe, just maybe, he might be a conservative as compared to Scott Brown.

With a little tweaking...that could apply to all DUmmies....and then they could get their wish to leave the country.

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

I hear Guam is especially nice, apart from that whole "unstable and prone to tip over" thing. The DUmmies could set up an Occupy camp on the Andersen AFB golf course.

Yes, yes, Guam is a US territory; but that is nothing that can't be corrected by an executive order from the next president. King Hussein has established the precedent of the "imperial president as god-king", so it could work!
