Title: Lady Godiva Chocolate Martini
Post by: dutch508 on February 16, 2008, 05:57:09 PM
 and....DRINK.

This wonderful chocolate martini is well worth the investment in the fine ingredients. What a wondefully sinful way to excite a martini glass!

Ingredients

2 ounces of Godiva Dark Chocolate liqueur
2 ounces of Creme de Cacao
1 ounce of half-and-half
2 ounces of freezing Goldenbarr Chocolate vodka
1 tablespoon of shaved white chocolate
2 well chilled, classy looking martini glasses

The mix

Combine the Godiva Chocolate liqueur, Creme de Cacao, and Goldenbarr Chocolate vodka into a cocktail shaker half full of cracked ice.
Shake for one full minute.
Add the half-and-half to the shaker and gently swirl (circular motion).
Strain your fine chocolate creation into your martini glasses.
Top each martini with shaved chocolate.
You'll be in chocolate heaven.
Although I didn't specify it in the recipe, the presence of a beautiful gal with flowing blonde hair on a white stallion will only serve to make this martini recipe even better!

As I said in the SB, dutch, it sounds delicious, but I am an Irish Coffee kind of gal.   Bailey's, Jameson's Irish Whiskey, coffee, and some other ingredients, and I'll be happy (and very very drunk).   :lmao:    I have seen a recipe that called for both, which shocked me, but at the same time, appealed to me.

The drink sounds great...especially after a meal...or even in place of a meal!  Who needs to eat when you have that in front of you!

If you want to look over something fun, check out this drink menu from a place in Iowa City and Davenport, IA

See any thing that looks good?

How about this Truffilini Martini: Smirnoff, Godiva, Baileys, Kahlua

What might seem less girly would be the Irish Carbomb.  It's a shooter that requires Guinness, Jameson Irish Whiskey and Bailey's. ;)
