Get ready for several months of media outlets claiming Hunter Biden’s corruption to be “old news.” The Department of Justice just cut a deal with the president’s son to reduce his tax-fraud charges to misdemeanors. Hunter will plead guilty to a felony firearm offense, but will enter a diversion program to avoid prison:

The Trump-appointed U.S. Attorney for Delaware has reached a plea agreement with Hunter Biden, in which he is expected to plead guilty to two federal misdemeanor counts of failing to pay his taxes. Biden also faces a separate gun possession charge that will likely be dismissed if he meets certain conditions, according to court documents filed on Tuesday.

Two sources familiar with the agreement told NBC News that it includes a provision in which the U.S. Attorney has agreed to recommend probation for Biden for his tax violations. Legal experts also said that the tax and gun charges will likely not result in any jail time for President Joe Biden’s son.

Tens or hundreds of thousands of taxes dodged and a Biden gets a misdemeanor? If I dodged a few hundred dollars of taxes, I'd get a felony and my family's life would be totaled.

Joe Biden’s scandal-plagued son, Hunter Biden, has reached a preliminary agreement with federal prosecutors in which he would plead guilty to tax fraud and admit to the facts of a gun charge of lying on a government form while purchasing a firearm.

The gun charge alone could have resulted in up to 10 years in prison, but Hunter would likely avoid prison time as a part of this sweetheart deal.

If I lied on a gun background check I'd probably get 5 years, because I'm not a special Dem.

The mom of that 6 year old that took her pistol to school and shot his teacher is getting run thru the federal wringer for exactly that. Facing 10 years in pound you in the ass prison and a quarter million dollar fine on just that one charge (somehow the po-po found out that she was using the Devil's Lettuce when she bought the gun; kinda like Hunter and his habitual crack use when he bought the gun.)

I hear tell her attorney is planning on pointing to the Hunter Biden as prima facia evidence that the law is selectively enforced and therefore should be struck.
