'Bike Karen' Race Hoaxer Does a Jussie Smollett, Doubles Down on Smears

A few weeks ago, internet race hustler Rashad Richey of The Young Turks defamed a pregnant nurse getting off of a 12-hour shift who was accosted by a band of urban youths. A dispute over the rental of a city “e-bike” ensued.

Richey dubbed her a “Karen” (a racist slur for white women) and claimed she had attempted to steal the bike from innocent black teenagers. He excoriated her for “weaponizing white tears,” alluding to historical incidents like the Emmett Till killing in the 1950s.

Later, presumably under pressure from his lawyers and/or handlers at The Young Turks, Richey quietly deleted the original defamatory video and uploaded a quasi-apology with clichés about integrity or whatever. The stench of fear of a lawsuit is palpable.

But he couldn’t help himself. So he brought on the thug’s stupid sister, who unwittingly exposes her own brother as the perpetrator and suddenly reverted to his prior talking points about an evil white woman racially targeting innocent black teenagers for a robbery after getting off of her 12-hour work shift.

Actress refers to DeSantis as "Grand Wizard" during Tony Award presentation

The Tony Awards were held Sunday night and televised live on CBS and Paramount+. I did not watch the show but a tweet caught my eye. It had to do with an actress and a Ku Klux Klan reference to Governor Ron DeSantis.

Actress Denee Benton was on stage to present the Excellence in Theatre Education Award from Carnegie Mellow University. The 2023 recipient of the award is Jason Zembuch Young of South Plantation High School in Plantation, Florida. In her remarks leading up to the award presentation, Benton noted that she is a CMU alum and that she is from Florida.

Then she launched into a random attack on the governor of her home state, because, of course, she did. He is a Republican running for president so he must be attacked in the most vile way on a broadcast going out to the country, and the world, via live television.

If he doesn't ignore her, DeSantis should thank Benton for her ringing endorsement. Stupidity like that needs to be attacked and mocked.

California Bill Would See Parents Lose Custody of Children If They Refuse to Affirm Gender

A new proposed amendment to a California bill would punish parents who refuse to affirm the gender of their children, which could result in loss of custody.

Lori Wilson and state Senator Scott Weiner proposed the new bill AB957, which amends the state Family Code addressing the “health, safety and welfare of the child” in every household.

It’s also worth noting that both Wilson and Weiner last year suggested offering Drag Queen 101 as part of the K-12 curriculum, introduced a bill that grants judicial leniency to certain pedophiles, and who was accused of a hate-crime hoax.

As the Daily Mail reported:

Under the revision to the Family Code, courts would be given complete authority to remove children from their homes if their parents do not affirm their gender.


The change would also make it so that schools, churches, and other organizations would need to affirm the gender identity of a child or face repercussions.
