Something positive.

Here is a very nice article on post-presidency life for the W and Lady Laura.

Bush Talks On Life Outside The White House

I laughed right out when I read the part where she said she completely forgot about O's address to congress.  She didn't even think about it.  LMAO

The sad thing is knowing how much she went to Afghanistan it truly was a disservice by the MSM who did not speak more of what she did while she was in the WH.  Of course they didn't know what to do with a woman of substance and style.  They aren't used to that much class in their presence.

Anyway, I enjoyed the article.

Obviously they learned nothing from the Clinton's leaving the White House, or they could have furnished their house.  :rotf:

Yes, quite the far cry from the ransacking that went on when billary left.  The whole chandelier thing still just astonishes me.  And here Laura is borrowing a kitchen table and chairs.  Shows truly how down to earth and humble she is.  Man, I miss them.

CHANDELIER!!!! Hell, she'd have taken the Whitehouse if they could have gotten the wheels under it.

oh of course!  Which is why what they left was everything that wasn't nailed down or accounted for in the WH inventory.  Everything that was "gifted" to them during his presidency they took.  Because, after all, it wasn't "the peoples" office.  It was THEIRS....you will see the same mentality with Chelle....she will take what she can when they are finally kicked out.

billary....  :lmao:

This is a cool article!  They've been showing them on the news a lot around here, as they move into their new place.  Not nearly as many moving vans/trucks as I thought, doesn't seem like they have that much stuff really!  It sounds like they are having a blast with their "retirement" though :)

Thanks for posting this Tess....

Did anyone read any of the comments? The hate and disdain in them is truly disgusting. So few were written favorably, I quit reading after about 30 of them.  :(

I refuse to read comments on articles like this.  I already know how they are going to be and I'd rather not deal with it.

Sometimes Lucianne will post an article like this.  That is the only place I will read the comments.

Well, since good old chelle is spending money right and left on decorating and furnishing I just hope they take the tacky shit with them.  We certainly don't want her taste as part of the White House furnishings in storage.   Ew.
