Wellesley is one of the wealthiest towns in Massachusetts.  This is an excellent commencement speech.  Worth the read.

Stunningly accurate, on-point, and oh-so-sweet.

Kudos to this well-spoken teacher, David McCullough.

I hope at least some of the graduates were listening. And learning.

Beck talked about this as well on the radio this morning.

ETA, just read it.  Great speech.  I think we all need more humility in ourselves after being immersed in 4 years of king zero's gigantic ego and megalomania.

I would have loved to have sat through the speech and watch all the horrified helicopter parents and coddled youth's faces.

The quote that basically sums it up:

We have of late, we Americans, to our detriment, come to love accolades more than genuine achievement

T-Mo's Asian, he prefers actual accomplishment. Hell, you're Asian as well, right?

BTW, don't be confused, T-Mo is all American. Probably even a little bit 'neck. ;-)
