Dunno....as a high-tech substitute for a wheelchair for handicapped perhaps?

As a crippled up guy, it seems like a good idea, but needs considerable work before someonee like me could use it. I like the electric wheelchair that can climb stares safely......if it were sanely priced, $12,000 is just too much.

Looking at their gimmicked up marketing their targeting 22nd century yuppies in museums and office buildings.

It looks like it's no faster than walking. It might come in handy in large factories for supervisors that have to cover a lot of ground. I've visited several large plants around here that have fairly big collections of bicycles available for use in getting around.
-
I can see where that would benefit someone like me who has problems with walking. I'd be somewhat leery of the balance things, though. I already have some balance issues. It doesn't seem like it would be terribly expensive. I must wonder how long the batteries would last??

I hope they bought the licensing rights from Mr. Garrison... :fuelfire:

I think some of them would overload the balance abilities of this thing.

No, they already use all of the scooters so the scooters aren't available to the truly disabled people.
