The LA pigs are wearing hazmat suits now. That's a new piece of police theater.
   
The pigs are claiming they don't want to wallow in feces and urine.

After all, they'll do anything to attempt to discredit the "dirty commie hippies" of the Occupy movement...

1. They did the same thing in Oakland.

You think that lack of hygiene is restricted to LA. The "dirty commie hippies" epicenter is in the Height-Asbury, district.

It also helps to examine the tactics of the Bloomberg types and their thugs...

1. Get every business and open establishment in the area to lock up their bathrooms, using police intimidation where needed.

2. Make sure the Occupy movement is not allowed to bring in porta-potties or have any other means for people to relieve themselves that doesn't involve walking five miles.

3. Point fingers and shout "LOOK THEY'RE SHITTING ALL OVER THE PLACE!"

The bathrooms in private businesses are for PAYING customers, not "dirty commie hippies."

The "reporter" said they're wearing the hazmat suits because the cops were afraid the protesters would throw feces and urine at them.

I've been to the LA #Occupation a few times and the only people it could possibly harm, are those who engage in the acts we decry...the destructive members of the 1%.

Is there any DUmpmonkey that has stayed at any occupy event for more than a few hours?

It seems that there are hundreds of OWies camped out for the duration but the DUmpmonkeys only drop in for a brief visit then go home and post about it on the DUngheap, feeling a kinship to the full time OWies.

I'd bet that both groups bath at the same percentage rate.

Considering that the Occupy camps have proven to be breeding grounds for lice, as well as a whole laundry list of infectious diseases that have spread among the Occupiers, it's not surprising that the cops want to avoid infection.

They take zero responsibility for anything and if they could only recognize that fact, they'd understand why they and those who support them never even have a chance of cracking the 50 % let alone the 1 %. Unbelievable.

There's a well known phenomenon of "freshers' 'flu" where the sudden influx of youngsters from across the country into the crowded living space of universities casuses a number of colds and the like to do the rounds each autumn...if that's what happens with the mostly moderately clean and disease free students, just imagine what happens when they're muck-ridden DUmmy-types - I suspect that there's a few entirely new diseases being incubated in those camps, can't blame the police for wanting some protection.

Anyone have on the job First Aid training????

Free Hepatitis preventative shots.

Huge emphasis on wearing gloves

Much training in how to treat any kind of wound from a pin prick to open gash when blood may be spilled. 

Most of the training is in fact how the first responders need to protect THEMSELVES from becoming ill from treating the injured.

The police wear Hasmat suits for a reason, some Er's in big cities have their doctors and nurses wear a modified Hasmat coverings as some really sad people come through the doors day and night.

Were I in charge of a clean up of the OCW sites, I would send in fireman that carry the tanks of oxygen on their backs.   I would not want the police without these tanks to get within 100 feet of them breathing in the bacteria from human waste, blood, fungus, ETC.

Then there is the fact that just walking about the site stepping on who knows what will stick to the bottom of shoes and boots.   Wear these shoes home and they track that stuff into their homes.
