LAst night I heard the promo on 1510AM WLAC, Nashville, wherein Glenn Beck says:
"Progressives Must Die!"
"Shoot Nancy Pelosi!"
"Cut Michael Moore's Head off!"
This is broadcast on OUR radio waves. Progressives own those radio waves, and WLAC merely leases them. They are engaging in criminal, discriminatory broadcasts, inciting violence against people of a certain political persuasion as well as advocating violence against individuals.
These broadcasts are in violation of their leases. They should lose their right to broadcast.
We need to start complaining, en masse.
These promos are no doubt running in your town as well. Call, write or fill in the online form to complain.

I couldn't believe it the first time I heard this promo a month ago. Then, there it was again, but I was ready with pen and paper.
I have to run give a friend a ride, but will be back, and I am going to research the ownership and lease of WLAC. I'm sick of this shit. You and I own the radio waves and we are being discriminated against and denied access as well as being violently threatened by broadcasts on WLAC, Nashville, 1510AM
Aired at 1:30 AM,CST WLAC, 12-8-11 Nashville.
As he wrote it down, he now has written proof.

This is why I tell you all this Federal Agency is useless. It's time to add the problems with access to the FCC to the list of things Obama must address.
I am sick of hearing calls for my "death" when I am listening to MY airwaves. Done with it. After what happened to Gabriel Giffords, no radio host should be peddling terroristic threats, assassination or violence. Glen Blowhard's promos are as funny as a rape joke to me. He is irresponsible and cruel to continue to broadcast this. WLAC 1510AM Fox Affiliate is not acting in the best interest of the community they serve.
Are they going to let rival gangs on next to threaten one another?
"All you crips do a drive-by on them locals. Bloods must DIE!" Is this what Radio is supposed to do for its citizens? Can I call in and say someone should.....to Limbaugh? Can I do a promo like that?
If not, why not? Why can WLAC, 1510AM Nashville, FOX Affiliate, get away with bradcasting this terroristic, criminal speech?
Apparently, unless I'm a member of the News Media, I don't get a special line. The FCC phone diversion system is confusing and designed to be so, unless, of course, you are a member of the media.
How much do we pay these people? Because for the millions - or however many illions - they are receiving, I should get someone to talk to, and not merely a maze of "Press This" to plod through.
FCC: this is why I say you are USELESS.
If there is a member of the media who would like to call and ask them why they allow this hate speech, please do so. I am going to check my e-mail for a response now. Maybe there is an actual number, to talk to an actual person, or else they can give ME a job, because I will by Gawd talk to the people who OWN the airwaves if they need to speak to someone.

I never once called for anyone's death when I was a talk host. I didn't need to resort to threats of terrorism to convey my ideas or opinions.
I did have death threats made against me.
One night a man called in and said on air that he wished I'd die cuz I was a "librull."
I listened, hung up, and proceeded to shame him on air for wishing this on my five children. Imagine saying publicly that you hope a mother of five children should die because of her political beliefs? Lucky for me, there was a very menacing and deadly security guard who walked me to my car every night after the show.
Well, that Death Wish Man called back the next week and apologized to me, profusely.
Peaceful, relentless shaming is the successful strategy I often used, as my Italian matriarchs and those uppity Iroquois women in NY taught me well.
Radio broadcast should not be a bloodsport or a one-sided terroristic attack on half the population.
It should be a public resource used for responsible, fair dissemination of information vital to the public - whom the individual stations serve as part of their license agreements.
