They may succeed in convincing themselves, but they wont convince anyone else.
The only way they convince themselves is because they've already sold themselves on the bullshit that the logic of their stance is internally consistent, instead of the most convoluted, self contradicting, intellectually lazy set of positions anybody else has ever seen.
This is why leftist scum are all insane by the way; you can only lie to yourself for so long before your mind - which, in spite of your own protestations knows full well bullshit when it sees it - breaks under the strain.
