I was reading through the list and kept seeing the word spanner,  should have known it was you making the post.   I don't keep as many pliers types, but most of the other stuff, plus a set of metric and standard sockets.

I took someone's advice here and got emergency roadside coverage.

I keep assorted box and socket wrenches, jumper cables, a flashlight, and a multimeter in the car right now.

I keep the jumper cables and the flashlight in the car normally as well.

When I head away for a trip in an unserviced area there's a bunch more stuff that goes in as well - Jacks , hand winches , recovery gear and so on.

So did I. I have a can of WD-40, a set of 3/8" US and metric sockets, a few screwdrivers, a Channelock pliers, a Vise-Grip, a hydraulic jack, and some replacement bulbs and fuses for the truck and the trailer(s).

I always carry a Swiss Army knife in my pocket, and there are 3 working flashlights in the truck. Don't have floss picks but have never needed them.

I probably should put together a car toll kit. The OP's list would make it a lot simpler.
