Based on their reactions to the economic stimulus plan, it seems that the Republican Party prefers Iraqi citizens to Americans. Republicans shriek in anger at Obama wanting to spend money to build and rebuild schools here in the United States, but they had no problems building them in Iraq. In fact, if anybody protested spending billions on rebuilding Iraqi infrastructure, they were called anti-American by Fox News and Rush Limbaugh. It also seems that to the GOP, universal health care is a great idea in Iraq, but Americans who support the money-saving idea of universal coverage here are socialists or communists. It seems the logic of the Republicans in 2009 is that Americans are not worth their help.

Still, the only bi-partisan action was to OPPOSE the borrow and print bill.

It seems like these people were totally upset about how little good we've done Iraq just a few weeks ago?  Now they're upset because we've done too much good?   :mental: :-)

Well, Jeff, it's a transparently stupid piece of shit, loaded with irrelevant and flawed analogies and based on a fundamental lack of knowledge about the actual terms of the Porkulus Package, which you apparently (and mistakenly) believe to be primarily about infrastructure construction.  Of course, you are from Connecticut, which is totally dominated by a credulous Obama-worshipping electorate, and the local newspaper will undoubtedly be pleased to publish your vapid tract alongside its own equally-defective editorial product.
