You know, I am really disappointed in the primitives with this.
And by the way, a big heartfelt "thanks" to all who've kept their eyes open on this name-change thing.
Anyway, when my fellow alum Skins announced the opportunity for primitives to change their names, I thought it was a good idea; the primitives with really stupid screen-names would then change them to something more imaginative.
What's happened is that the primitives with "not great, but okay" screen-names appear to have changed them to stupid, and stupider, screen-names.
Thus Skins's island descending even deeper into the depths of stupidity.
The effect's been pretty much zilch.
As I've oftentimes mentioned, primitives paint pictures of themselves with words.
Forever engraved on this mind is the sparkling husband primitive, whose self-portrait was that of an older Italianate guy, slightly balding, his pants down, glumly sitting on the commode, his elbows on his knees and his chin cupped in his hands, sullenly watching as the cat does a number two in the litter box on the opposite end of the room.
That's the "picture" he gave of himself, as "Husb2Sparkly."
Well, now he's "Stinky the Clown."
And now forever engraved on this mind is the stinking clown primitive, whose self-portrait is that of.....a clown, painted face, big red nose, floppy shoes, his pants down, glumly sitting on the commode, his elbows on his knees and his chin cupped in his hands, sullenly watching as the cat does a number two in the litter box on the opposite end of the room.
