Flying the Confederate Flag is a declaration of war
Advertisements [?]
The obvious racist undertones hide an important fact about the confederate flag. Even if you give someone the benefit of the doubt regarding the racist implications of flying the confederate flag it is a symbol of treasonous opposition to America. It is a declaration of war against America, and against the people of America.
So anyone who claims that their Confederate Flag isn't about racism is just letting you know that they support violent opposition to the government, Civil war, and sedition.

6. Well, I hope you never move to Georgia
Because folks fly the rebel flag all over the place here. Outside their homes as well as private businesses.

14. I'm sure there are plenty of people in Georgia who are not racists or treasonous
At least enough to offset the mouth breathing Confederate flag flyers.

Why don't you go and post that at www.arkansashunting.net ? Just make sure you cover your tracks big time so that your IP link cannot be traced.

20. They insist it isn't about racism, what else could it be about?
It is about showing support for violent opposition to America and support for the systemic human rights abuses faced by African Americans. If they ain't racist, than they are certainly treasonous.

10. Stay away from your local Oktoberfest.
There's little Hitlers everywhere.

24. They keep insisting it's about heritage and how exceptional they are...
I think they really want to believe it and choose to ignore the flag's history. Delusion isn't an uncommon commodity for these types. Of course, many of this group are truly racist.

25. According to my G-Grandfathers diary he fought for the State of Mississippi.
He and his five brothers fought at Vicksburg. They were Millers, Sawyers and Farmers. They were there to fight because "the Yankees were in Mississippi". After the war they returned to their trades. I have all 17 diaries, five uniforms and seven weapons from that time frame.
My family were craftsmen, small merchants, and farmers. Many of them still are. NON of them owned, rented, or borrowed slaves.

Armed and Livin in Texas
And I have flown the"Bonny Blue Flag" out of respect of them.

42. It didn't even exist prior to the Civil war and ceased to exist (as recognized flag) after
The only part of the history and heritage of the South that it could represent is the civil war. As the battle flag, the only aspect of the civil war that it could represent is the violent opposition to the Union.
Many are racist, many are delusional, and many are tea baggin, violent, wanna be revolutionaries.

The arrogance of the DUmmies is astounding. They will give "the benefit of the doubt" to those who fly the Confederate flag--as if that benefit is either required or theirs to bestow! (It's neither.) They will "allow" the flying of the flag...they know that it has "obvious racist undertones"; they know that it's the "most anti-American flag" of all...They know everything, and they are the arbiters of what's proper and what's not.
They are insects.
Actually, you'd be hard pressed to fill a ****in' thimble with what DUmmies really know.

Quite a few of those War flags runnin' 'round here, and Idaho wasn't even a state back then. Wonder what DUmpMonkeys have to say about us? I know what to say to them, come make us take 'em down, studley! Did I mention the lake out front is 1300 feet deep and just a little difficult to retrieve bodies from? No? Well I could show ya first hand when y'all show up!
Just be sure to open them up real well before you dump 'em, so they don't fill up with gas and start bobbing around lile plastic floats at a kid's fishing derby a week later.
Jus' sayin'...

Declaration of war, huh? Hmm, let's revisit a little history.......
- Slavery existed under the American flag for 150+ years. It existed under the Confederate flag for 4.
- No slave ship EVER flew the Confederate flag because the Confederate Constitution banned the importation of slaves. Hundreds, if not thousands, of slave ships flew the American flag.
- As war raged on and freed and escaped slaves fled to the north, Lincoln deported them (most were born here in the U.S.) to Liberia because people up north didn't want them. Guess which flag flew on those ships?
- No American soldier flew a Confederate flag as our ancestors committed genocide against the American Indian....murdering them wholesale, stealing, lying to and cheating them out of their lands. Guess what flag they carried?
- According to the bylaws of the Ku Klux Klan, carrying a Confederate flag is optional. Guess which flag is MANDATORY?

Wow, if the DUmmies used history to judge the Confederate flag, what are they going to do to the American one now??

33. I'll bet they WANTED slaves.
non-slave owning southerners wanted slaves, even if they didn't have them at the moment. That's why southerners who didn't own slaves fought for the Confederacy.
I haven't owned a confederate flag in 50 years....these idiots are gonna force me to buy several and fly them.
To any DUmmie out there...Us southerners really don't need a flag to remind us of our proud heritage...the stars and bars are tattooed on our southern hearts at birth.

The racists are the members of the democrat party. Bunch of ****in Yankees.
My Great grandfather, who was nothing but a dirt farmer and never had more than 2 cents to rub together, fought with the Army of TN against the army of the northern aggressors. Slavery had nothing to do with it. They weren't going to be told by a distantKingpolitician how to live their life. After hacking out a living in a region that nobody else wanted, them mountain folk just wanted to live their life in peace.
Personally I don't care if they think a Confederate flag is racist or not. It seems to be their problem, not mine.
What unit? I had an ancestor fight with the 60th N.C. Inf. Regt. He was killed in Murfressboro.
Just an ot but as you guys know I am from Memphis. We have a park in downtown Memphis with a statue of Nathan Bedford Forrest. "They" have tried so many times to get that statue removed and the park renamed. So far, they have sucked at it. :tongue:Why would they do that Gina?? Was he not well liked??
Why would they do that Gina?? Was he not well liked??
Because of the KKK link. Where I live (Memphis), it's 65% black. Martin Luther King was killed here and everything here is being renamed after him it seems. I hate this city. It's amazing to see how racist the blacks actually are against everyone else, even their own race. The darker you are the lower you are. ::)
Anyway..........the most I have ever seen the Confederate flag is when I go through Alabama.
Traitortots and all of his little ****buddies are the ones who are out there cheering every time Hezbollah, La Raza or any other dipshit organization burns the American flag, while wringing their panties in a knot if they THINK someone is looking cross-eyed at a person "of color" or "of religion" as long as it's the Muslim religion and not the Christian one. Dammit, all of those DUmpmonkies can go fling shit at each other; I'm an equal opportunity loather of all of them: vile, disgusting, arrogant, know-it-alls who know absolutely nothing.
Ya know in AL Robert E Lee's b-day is still a celebrated holiday. When I was a county employee we got it and MKL as personal days.Used to be a holiday in Virginia. Pretty sad when the man can't even get any respect on his home ground because of the stupid libs in Northern Virginia.
Madam, I have nothing to say but "Well Said". :cheersmate:Thanks, Iassa, I really did restrain myself from continuing on indefinitely in that vein, lest I blow an artery. :argh:

Seemed like a sacrilege.
First in his class at West Point and a hell of a leader. But the revisionists want to write out all his good (and there were a bunch) points.

That's probably true, but they're making the ignorant mistake of comparing how black people are viewed today with how they were viewed back then. In the 1800's, black people were viewed as monkeys who could talk. Not just in the South, either. It took several more generations before people realized that they're just as human as you and I. Owning a slave back then was like a farmer owning a cow today.
I've always had great admiration for General Lee, and sure did hate to see him portrayed by that creep Martin Sheen in "Gettysburg". Seemed like a sacrilege.Robert Duvall did a lovely job in Gods and Generals. Part of it was filmed on his land in Virginia. He is also a descendant of Lee's.
Forrest started the KKK as an organization intended to run off carpet baggers from the north. When it devolved into a racist organization, he attempted to disband it and was barred for life for doing so. People who want his statue torn down over his KKK ties are simply idiots who don't take the time to research history.
They have been told that over and over. It doesn't matter. Every person owned a slave back then and they want every bit of history to be wiped clean.
