Where's the American Nana primitive, "NanceGreggs," when one needs her to remind us of all the rights we've "lost" under George Bush?

UK Parliament votes for 42 days detention without charge
Prime Minister Gordon Brown has narrowly won a House of Commons vote on extending the maximum time police can hold terror suspects to 42 days.
Rebel Labour MPs had joined forces with Conservative and Lib Dems to vote against the proposals.
But it was not enough to defeat the plan which ministers claim is needed to deal with complex terror plots.
The government won by nine votes, with 315 MPs backing its position and 306 MPs voting against it.

The Ulster Democratic Unionists (Iain Paisley's lot) voted with the government, giving them this thin majority. The UK already has the longest limit on holding suspects without charge - 28 days.
A shameful day for the UK.
This is good kindling, fine top-notch dry firewood, for a bonfire, but the primitives are ignoring it.
