Oh my.

Oscar Wilde, the large proboscised primitive, squeezes his hands out from inside his embroidered linen cuffs to warn us:

"President" John McCain would be a clear and present danger.

The next president will appoint at least one and perhaps as many as three Supreme Court Justices. And they’re appointed for life.

The current Supreme Court Justices and their ages:

Liberals
John Paul Stevens 87
Ruth Bader Ginsburg 74
Stephen Breyer 69
David Souter 67

Conservative
Anthony Kennedy 71

Insane People
Antonin Scalia 71
Clarence Thomas 59
Samuel Alito 57
John Roberts 52

This election is about the country in which you, your children, your grandchildren and your great grandchildren will live. Do you really want to live in a country in which McCain gets to replace one, two, or even three of these people?

In response to Oscar Wilde's question, yes, franksolich wants to live in a country in which John McCain gets to replace some Supreme Court justices, one hopes justices more reflective of mainstream values.

1. That's exactly right.........I've harped on this very issue for years

...the Bush legacy of Alito and Roberts will live with us for years and if McCain gets elected it will be a total disaster for any reasonable Supreme Court rulings for years to come.

2. Actually, he'd be an unclear and largely-absent danger --

but a true danger, nonetheless.

Fixed.

Because third world peasant labor is a good thing.
