'Baby snatcher' monkey hunted after infant found dead in well

A monkey in India’s eastern state of Odisha is being hunted by police after it allegedly snatched and killed a baby. The baby’s body was later found inside a well, the BBC reports.
The 16-day-old baby was sleeping next to his mother in the village of Talabasta when he was snatched by the monkey, according to the Times of India.
Monkeys are terrorists and evil like rabbits. :mad: :argh:

NAGANO--Prefectural government officials have declared open season on Japanese macaques prowling the Northern Japan Alps, to protect the endangered ptarmigan chicks they are reportedly feasting on.
They are asking climbers and volunteers to carry air guns and slingshots and fire away at monkeys to chase them off the high-mountain areas. The prefectural government plans to allocate a budget for fiscal 2016, which starts in April, to supply the weapons to mountain lodges in the Northern Japan Alps.
