Shooting ranges for progressives only.

We wouldn't need very much. Just small plots of land or commercial buildings, barbecue , picnic benches and targets with Sarah Palin's face on them!

We can start them all over the country and take videos of us shooting conservatives with big "Don't tread on me EITHER" signs behind us and put them on youtube.

Good idea?

2. It would be nice to shoot and not have to deal with right wing idiots...BUT
   
The idea of shooting at pictures of real people would just make us as bad as the right wing rednecks who shoot at the Osama bin Laden targets. I like the idea of progressives only shooting clubs though.

You must've been in a different Army than I was.  In my third year in the tank battalion in Germany, I was astounded to find they had actually laid on a field shower unit for us during a break in one of the four week field problems that year, whcih was a first.  That was the Cold War of course; the good thing about asymmetrical war like the GWOT is you can have base camps with actual amenities like actual shitters and mess halls.

All I know is that on a sub, you had better take a daily shower, or you'll get hosed down fairly quickly.

Not if your in the Infantry. The only time I saw a shower on a 4 week deployemnt was at 29 Palms training with the Marines. They also had water buffalos that had refigeration units on them to keep the water cold. As for meals they were either MRE's or if it was hot it might have came from a mess hall but we sure as hell never ate in one. The second time I was in the Calofornia Desert was at Ft. Irwin and they sent us hot food but no utensils to eat it with. A day later the unit had several of us get ill and they had to shut us down for two days.
