This is like the 2016 campaign all over again. They would show 20 min of an empty stage and podium waiting for the ****ing moron to appear all for ratings $$$$$$$$. Meanwhile Hillary wanted to discuss the real issues and couldn't get any air time. BOYCOTT BOTH CNN and MSNBC or better yet, email them. If they keep this up the midterms are lost. I called both stations to complain and was able to leave a mess with CNN but MSNBC was all full so I tried Rachel's mailbox/extension and that was full too. I am REALLY pissed off and this is not the end of it! I will be calling and emailing them (but we all need to).

In the real, more or less sane world, Presidential speeches are often carried, in part or in whole, as news. The MSM did that with Obama. And Bush. And Clinton. And ... all the way back to Eisenhower (or maybe even Truman).

DUmmie swerves into the truth and does not realize it. Trump generates ratings because he provides good visuals, sound bites and material for their hosts to talk about. Hillary was dull, boring, untelligenic and was always in danger of stroking out on stage. The liberal gate keepers were in no way going to allow the image below lead the 2016 news cycle after every Hillary speech.
