Pam seems to hate Nadin for some reason.  I don't know if Nadin beat her out for DOTY and Pammie is butt-hurt about it or Pam feels like she looks good by being only slightly more literate than Nadin.  Either way it's a short bus slap fight.

aw, a former poster's (paper) blog didn't get enough donations for them to do what they love

and can't pay the bills so they will go find jobs like the rest of us.

To truly appreciate Nadin's genius you need to read her whole article.  She blames her readers for her failure.  As expected, her grammar and spelling is true to form.

...with the clothes on my back. I've written about that elsewhere at DU so no need to repeat.

N is a regional reporter -- San Diego/SoCal is her region, and believe me, fires are important news here.

Now, if cousin nadin were truly public-spirited, as Democrats, liberals, and primitives are alleged to be, she'd do her "investigative" reporting on her own dime (as we do here in the DUmpster and the Sandhills forum)--and that of course suggests an unanticipated opportunity, some story or series of hers attracting the notice of a legitimate news enterprise, and she'd end up on their payroll.

So I go over and read the whole thing.

When the cousin's talking about "expenses," she's obviously talking about she or her husband actually and physically covering stories, as if they need to be there to collect the facts.

The internet's full of facts, most of which are free for the taking.

Why can't cousin nadin cover the wildfires, for example, while lounging on the couch in the living room, munching on chocolate bon-bons as if popcorn.

But I suspect she's always done it that way anyway.

My guess is that it started with Teacher dtj commenting on nads' unmastery of English vocabulary, grammar, and syntax. nads, being proud beyond all basis in reality, likely declined to recognize Teacher dtj as a superior being, and matters spiraled downward from there.
