Ohiya (323 posts) https://www.democraticunderground.com/10029949253I hope I don't puke...At our company Christmas party later tonight, I'm sure our CEO will say something about how we're now allowed to say Merry Christmas.(Where's that darn puking emoticon when you need it!)

Why would the phrase "I don't drink with you" upset someone? At a party with my wife's co-workers one woman kept asking me if I wanted a drink. I told her no thank you each time, after several offers she asked why I didn't want a drink and I said "I don't drink with you." I was there to accompany my wife to a party with her co-workers, it was not appropriate for me to consume their food and beverages.
Saying cheers is lame, the primitive needs to tell that fancy pants CEO I don't drink with you. That's how it's done.https://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=105x5330132

I do drink Edited on Tue Jul-04-06 08:41 AM by RGBolenI was not going to drink there. What I asked was after someone has told you "no thanks" repeatedly, do you continue to offer them? Or do you allow them to decide that they do not want it?
I hope you get botulism for Christmas.
Why didn't you just tell her to f**k off, you ass hole.
