The key word here is "pretend". It is all you have left. Because your world and reality are so far apart it would take a star ship going at warp 500 an infinite amount of time to meet.
So go ahead and pretend all you want. The reality is the president's name is Donald Trump and there is not one damn thing you can do about it. Franken is resigning his seat cause he is a molester and there is not one damn thing you can do about it.
To be quite honest with you, the next four years are just not going to go your way and there is not one damn thing you can do about it.
