Trickle down economics at it's finest
About these advertisementsFirst of all, Exxon posts record profits

But the REAL story is that payrolls have dropped the first time since 2003.

WASHINGTON - Nervous employers cut 17,000 jobs in January — the first such reduction in more than four years and a fresh trouble sign that the economy is in danger of stalling.

The Labor Department's report, released Friday, also showed that the unemployment rate dipped slightly to 4.9 percent, from 5 percent, as the civilian labor force shrank slightly.

Job losses were widespread. Manufacturers, construction firms and a variety of professional and business services eliminated jobs in January — reflecting the toll of the housing and credit debacles. The government cut jobs, too. All those cuts swamped job gains in education, health care, retailing and elsewhere.

Wage growth also slowed, another indication that employers are tightening their belts amid the economic slowdown.

A little primitive love

3. Good to see you too my friend

Yesterday, Home Depot announced 500 job cuts, JC Penney announced 200, Yahoo is cutting loose 14,000, Wyeth cutting 8000 jobs, Ford Motor Company is cutting an indeterminate number, Sprint will cut 4000, Morgan Stanley cutting 1140, Novartis 2500 jobs lost, Construction job losses could reach 1 million, and on and on.
Google "job losses" and find out that the US is HEMORRHAGING jobs--yet nobody is really reporting that.

Looks to me like businesses are getting ready for a Dem President, cutting their losses early. There will be a lot a downsizing when Hillary takes office....can you say "disaster"..... :censored:

Look what is happening after just one year of a democrat controlled congress.  You can look forward to a huge crumble if a democrat is elected to the White House.  A sound economy and democrats do not mix.

Things were good until the democrat congress.

DUmmys, this is the recession you so wanted for the last seven years.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

With consumer confidence being probably the most important factor to a Capitalistic economy, yes, it's turning out exactly how they wanted it. Those fools have been playing down the economy so f'n much for the sake of regaining power that people actually started believing the shit. Now consumer confidence has tanked...and the economy is following right behind.

Libs, your choice, Balkanization or Revolution? That's where you're leading us.

NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site
