Is it possible to ignore an entire thread instead of just a person?

I don't believe you can. You mean the threads that coming up in your personal queue, of new replies? You can mark it as already read. If you have notifications going to your email, that new replies come up, you can unsubscribe from your personal email. You want to take it out of the queue right? not sure. There are a few I want to as well....
Once one puts in their 2 cents, they are done with the thread. so your options are , just read the ones you are interested and just reply , or don't put in your 2 cents worth.
I don't know what else to tell you, buddy!! :-)

I do all that. I was just wondering if I could save some typing, that's all.

A lot of the ones that answer to many of them, end up wading thru them for hours. I like the reading one, the music one, and the crafting one, cus I am interested in what people are interested in....
I kinda wished that if we don't reply, personally, that we get a prompt though our messages, saying something like"You haven't responded to this thread in 7 days, do you still want this in your queue? that would give people the option of opting out of those threads, they are no longer interested in...

I feel for you, sir; I feel your pain.
But no, it isn't possible.

Thankyou Frank, for that reply. Maybe that is some administration can work on?

Thanks, Frank.
Sea's recommendation sounds good. Maybe that could be worked on?

I've tried the "ignore it and it will go away" route. It doesn't work in my experience.
