For those of us who sew/quilt check out www.fabrics.com. They have some new arrivals!! I would love to buy some, but have enough fabric already...
Also free shipping for $35.00 or more.

I wish I could sew.  I have a sewing machine.  I need someone to teach me, so I can make curtains!

Anyone who sews and would like some thread just let me know. I have been collecting thread for my rod making for years and years and I have way to much. For my friends here at the cave send me a paid flat rate box and I'll fill with colors you would like and send it out. I have LOTS of thread.

I was a child who liked to learn. My mom taught me to sew because I almost hosed up her machine trying to do it myself, initially. It came in handy while I was in the Navy because I could always do my own alterations, sew on stripes, etc.

I was the same way. It was a good way to make a little extra money on the side from all my shipmates who couldn't sew...

Yeah, if I had known, I would have taken my machine on the cruises I made.
