Just when I was really starting to like her, AOC had to come out and say,
"Capitalism is irredeemable."
She didn't just say it is broken -- which is true. She didn't just say it's in need of strong reforms, along the lines of the capitalism practiced in the Nordic countries.
She said it is "irredeemable."
That is, beyond redemption. Beyond repair. Hopeless.

The congresswoman, who has described herself as a democratic socialist, added during her interview that "we should be scared."
"Just as there’s all this fearmongering that government is going to take over every corporation and government is going to take over every business or every form of production, we should be scared right now because corporations have taken over our government," she said.

The primitive who wrote the OP might be making a defense of capitalism or she might be criticizing the buck toothed barmaid for being too honest about leftist strategy. The primitive making the first reply isn't nearly as ambiguous.

Capitalism creates wealth.
Government is supposed to fairly distribute it.
Therefore government has failed us - not capitalism.
This primitive gets it--understands that the freeloaders need productive people to mooch off of.

When I read the thread title I wondered if AOC had insulted the French.
DU-folk don't want to see it, but AOC does believe government should own all means of production, etc., Lenin-Stalin-style. And if anyone thinks she and her fellow-travelers wouldn't go full purge-Gulag ...

Well, ADX is barely out of Noob-hood. Might be a mole, might be a little more honest than other DU-folk. Either way (s)he is basically predicting more and worse to com if the likes of AOC get their way.
